Thomas Edison Middle School serves the 6-8 grade students of West Dallas.

Thomas Edison welcomes Mercy Street mentors with open arms! They would love for you to visit your mentee up at the school. Each parent/guardian of a Mercy Street student has granted you permission to participate in your mentee's academic life. This means you are able to attend parent/teacher night, talk with teachers, or get a student report card from the counselor's office.
Before you go... The administration at Thomas Edison does ask two simple things of you. First you need to go online (link below) and fill out the DISD volunteer application, print off the confirmation page, and turn it in to the table right as you walk in. Secondly, you will need to bring your drivers license. After your first time, you no longer need your license but still need to get a name badge.
Also, please sign in at the Mercy Street binder-it is located in the office on the right hand side of the counter.

Mentors are not allowed to bring outside food for their student to lunch. You are welcome to buy an adult school lunch a-la-carte for less than $5.00 cash.
